One bike, multiple graphic kits. The KTM 250 SX in a studio set, where each livery transforms into the next through a material-change effect on the plastics.

The KTM 250 SX is one of the most recognisable bikes in motocross. The brief asked for more than a render: a studio reel where the graphic kits switch on the bike in real time, through a transition effect that runs across the plastics.

Everything was built in 3D — the bike, the studio, the liveries and the transformation itself. No photoshoot, no plastics to swap, no editing tricks.

Challenge

Showing several kits in one video usually means a sequence of cuts. The goal here was a seamless transformation: the new graphic had to take over the plastics as a material change, flowing across the surfaces instead of simply appearing. The effect needed to feel precise and premium, not like a digital glitch. Every livery had to stay perfectly aligned on the plastics before, during and after the switch, with sponsors and numbers always sharp.

Goal

Turn a product catalogue into a single, spectacular piece of content: one reel that presents multiple graphic kits in a few seconds and makes viewers watch until the last change. Keep the clean studio look, with controlled lighting and reflections, so the attention stays on the plastics and on the transformation.

Result

A studio reel where the KTM 250 SX changes its skin in front of the camera. Each kit flows into the next across the plastics, with gloss and matte finishes reacting to light throughout the transition. The setup is reusable: new graphic kits can be added to the sequence, turning every collection launch into a single reel that shows the whole range.
